SOME OF MY INTERESTS INCLUE: Healthy Cooking, Working Out, Lifting Weights, Running, Competing for the NPC Bikini Division, Meditation, Studying Holistics & Homeopathic Books, Church, Online Shopping, The arts (dance, theater, broadway), Sipping Coffee, Writing Poetry & Literature.I've been a dancer in theater & arts since age 6. I also helped choreograph dance routines for cheerleading competitions I was active in. I was on the dance line in high school & was a half time dancer @ games. I was also a cheerleader & Co-Captain for my squad.....I also grew up as a singer for weddings, parties, church functions, choir & talent shows. I practiced piano & guitar but only a little.I love theater. My dream was to become a New York Rockette until I found out that I was too short.I studied Cosmetology & graduated Class President/VICA Honor student. I still love to practice cosmetology but not on a daily basis. I worked as a chemical specialist for 3 years.
MORE ABOUT ME: I come from a background of Dance & Performing. I placed top honors in Catholic School, & again in High School for being an active memeber of VICA, Jr. VICA & Class President in 1995 & 1996. I received awards in art & literature classes. My hobbies were singing at weddings & other functions & studying dance. I have been in several different dance competitions with my dance squad & cheerleading squad. My main interest was lyrical, freestyle & tap. I also loved theater & performing dramatic.
In college I received 2 different types of degrees. My undergrad was in Graphic Design & Web Design. This degree allowed my creative side to show.
My Master's Degree is in Business & Technology. This was for my more analytical side to show. I was gifted ambidextrous so I can operate on both sides of the brain.
The one thing that kept me calm & revived was running. I was a distance runner for 18 years. Today the only form of running to which I still utilize would be sprints and bleechers. I met my first trainer when I was lifting at a local gym here in Arizona. It wasn't a long journey with us but I moved on to another trainer at the same gym. It's crazy how different trainers can be.
It wasn't long before I became interested in Competing for the NPC Division. I started out in the Bikini Division but plan to someday cross over into the figure division. I can honestly say that I have been blessed so far in this sport. I have a huge fire inside me & will be living the dream for many years to come. I was started into the industry by Joe (my ex fiance). He helped me through my first four shows but due to irreconcilable differences, I moved on to another trainer, one with more experience.... I love to train and eat clean…I am constantly changing my diet to keep my body shocked so that I remain a furnace oven burning fuel 24/7. I train hard & enjoy being a positive role model for others that look up to me....
I have a really adorable Chocolate Lab that I named Hershee. I love her.
The year 2010 was a great year for me…I started competing with my current partner, best friend & love, Troy Tate... I have been working really hard & applying more work & dedication as well as focus. My body continues to mold into the shape that I desire. Figure is the first division that interested me. So I will continue to pursue the dream... I had two really good coaches & mentors who have taught me a lot about fitness & training….Tim Sparkes of Die Hard Gym & Fitness, & Troy Tate my current partner in crime…. Not only were Troy & I perfect for each other outside of the gym, but inside the gym as well…Today Troy & I are Team Tate & have a following with the brand "Team Tate"....2010 started out being a good year for me with my new partner, the loss of an unpleasant situration with a previous partner, 2 excellent new coaches & my 1st magazine cover.....which led me into 2011 with more drive & focus along with some featured interviews, a few website features & Earning the spot of Miss February in the 2012 Hardfitness Calendar.
ALSO STAY TUNED FOR MY MEMBERS ONLY WEBSITE TO LAUNCH IN 2012 AS WELL....

Twas the month after Christmas and all through the house
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd taste.
All the holiday parties had gone to my waist.
When I got on the scales there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber).
I'd remember the marvelous meals I'd…
